Many times when we visit blogs, we see some posts which stick to the top of the page. Such posts are called sticky post and they continue to win the race as compared to other articles. They never live their place.
Generally important announcement or good articles are made Featured post. So How to do this?
Well its so simple and easy.
1) Just write your blog post and publish like you always do.
2) Now after publishing under ‘Posts’ option click on ‘Edit’.
3) It will show the article links with author, categories, tags and other info.
4) Just hover to the Article Title which you like to make sticky.
5) Now you will see options like Edit, Quick Edit, View and Delete.
6) Click on Quick Edit and it will show many information like categories, date, slug, tags,etc.
7) There is a option ‘Make this post sticky’ just check it and update.
You’re done.
It will take few seconds. When you want to remove just uncheck and update.

@Sree it will work with all themes.
Otherwise, you can try out some featured contents plugins like FCG or DCG. And there are many. After all not all themes are show sticky post on homepage.
