Measure CPU processor temperature with a Software

Today I was working on my laptop and I found it heating up so I thought Why shouldn’t I check my computer processor temperature after all they also feel heat.

So I quickly searched and found two different software to do this. One is CPU Thermometer that needs .Net framework and another is Core Temp.

But CPU thermometer didn’t work out for me, It is continuously showing 49 degree Celsius for the last half an hour so I dropped it.

Then I checked Core Temp and it Worked!! So I found the correct software. It works on Windows XP, Vista and Windows & operating system

It has many other options too like processor clock frequency, shows Load, overheat protection and much more.

Here are the screenshot of my PC. I have AMD core 2 but it supports Intel too.

temperature sensor

Have a look at the low and high value at the bottom. But truly speaking this is not the actual way to measure it. It just gives the outline. So you need to be familiar with your computer hardware to get the accurate one. Get a temperature sensor to know it.

So share your PC heat with us :-)
