Twitter has recently launched Twestival (a Twitter festival) to raise funds for poor and needy people. It will help people in developing countries like Africa, Asia and others.
You can also donate money to eradicate poverty and to improve education standards. You can become a volunteer by registering your school, college and an organization.
Many celebrities also joined this moral cause. The next Twestival will be held on 25th March 2010. You can also buy books and shirts to raise more funds from the shop.
Twitter is not alone other big companies like PayPal, GoToMeeting, Amiando, Microsoft and others are also doing their bit to help them.
