How to find Google Penalty on your website

Google Penalty is the biggest nightmare for every website owner. It may affect your site ranking and it results in poor traffic and less visitors. As a result, your site popularity will decrease.

Here are the few steps which will help you to determine Google penalty on your website-

1) First step, Go to Google.com and check your website with site: operator like site:example.com. Check the result, If it is showing the indexed pages then it means your site has been properly indexed.

If it is showing zero indexed pages then it means your site is new or It is completely banned from Google Search, Check Google Webmaster Guideline.

2) After completing the step 1, Go to Google.com again and search for www. example.com and check the results. If your site is ranking well in the search then it means you are safe. But if your site is ranking very poorly in the search result then it is possible that you are facing Google Penalty.

3) Check your server for any malware attack, Malware is the reason of Google Penalty too. Visit Check Website for malware malicious attack for more info.

4) Check search engine traffic on your site. If there is sudden decrease in the search engine traffic on your site then it might be possible that you are facing the Penalty. You may use Google Analytics to get more insight detail for your site traffic.

These are the few steps to Find Google Penalty on your website. There is no fixed method to find this. If you think that you are penalized then you may fill Reconsideration Request.

    @Erwin i don’t think there is any penalty. Your site caching is fine. Must be some sandbox effect.

    Im using Avast antivirus, and when i try to open my page, the antivirus says the says has malware, after that i tried google checker and that mcadvisor they dont show nothing, how come?

  10. will too many linkedin group posting of the site page which fetches the same meta tags as in orginal site result in penalty?.. am much skeptical about this
