Gmail offers 7 GB+ (and still counting) space to the user. So it is not unlimited. Gmail displays inbox space usage stats directly in your inbox. Just scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will get the information.
But What to do when you have already used this free space? Well this happens many times to few users.
Here are the some tips to get more out of your Gmail inbox-
1) Useless Mails- Many times we get useless Ads or promotional mail and many people don’t delete such email because of huge email space. It is better to remove useless mails regularly (after reading). If you try to delete such mails together then it gets too difficult and time consuming.
2) Spam- Please keep it clear. One thing I really like about Gmail is their powerful spam filter. Gmail automatically deletes Spam mails after 30 days. So you don’t have to worry much about it.
3) Sent and Draft- It keep all your sent mails. Please only keep the important ones.
4) Download- important mail to your computer using Microsoft Outlook or other software and remove them from Gmail inbox.
5) Buy Space- Gmail offers you the choice to buy more space. Read Gmail Blog for more info.
