I am sure everyone who is reading this page must be aware about PageRank (PR) and its importance. Google PageRank adds value to website Search Engine Ranking (SERP). There are many other factors too like back links, website age, popularity and more which is important for SERP.
Pagerank have a range from 0-10. A site with PR 0 is least important and the site with PageRank- 10 is the most important in the eye of Google.
Google PageRank Update Schedule for the year 2010 –

| Second 2010 PageRank (PR) Update | 30 June – 7 July 2010 |

| Fourth 2010 PageRank (PR) Update | 31 December – 2 January 2011 |
The above data is the assumption based on previous PR updates. Google Generally updates website or blog PageRank PR 4 times in a year. All these updates are major PR updates. Every month Google also do minor PageRank updates for every site.
*Well this time they have delayed the process but it might happen in the month of April. Please focus more on content than PR. They already know that people are crazy for it and use it to sell links which is not allowed.
[Quick Update] As you know Google has already done some backlinks and other updates in the last few months, so it is getting very uncertain to predict the date. They want webmaster to change their looks over the PR. Many people use it to sell text links which they don’t like it.

I’m waiting for the second update of 2010. In the first update i lost pagerank, not sure why.

My site is PR3 and has been for several years. No of pages indexed has gone up 10 fold, links have doubled but PR remains unchanged. Why could this be?

I agree with one poster above. I have a feeling it will be in the next few days. I noticed some position adjustments last night.
Also i saw a spike in traffic – when i looked it was google bot. So maybe they are gather data for their data centers.
Should be anytime soon – lets all hope it comes but until them its wise to continue to build good quality content. That is always the most important thing to do provide value for human readers!!

We have noticed a big improvement in the SERP’s – up from position 7 to position 2 on page 1 for “SEO UK”. Traffic has doubled as well

My personal blog lost its PR in the last update. I tried as much to be active posting.
Good thing, our main sites retained in Page Rank.
I just pray and hope that all the tweaking in meta data & link building methods we did will be good enough to at retain or improve in our ranking
The update will come maybe next week (or in August), I hope to get back on PR5. On the last update i’ve dropped at 4.

I have seen no update yet!
Patience. Google PR is cycled as stated, on a ‘rough’ quarterly schedule but its ever flowing, as in its not set to a specific time frame. Inforats was published in Late May,now has about 600 backlinks (124 unique), various PRs but some strong and traffic running around 200 hits a day. PR is still 0 but from my assesment and compared to other sites Im managing, its around a 3 heading to 4. It will update, just continue building quality, unique, and relevant content and of course, backlinks…cheers!

I have read that updates are every 3 months, so this one is slightly delayed.

I personally believe the update is getting very close, possibly within a week. I am noticing more and more backlinks in the index, which is always a good sign of an update.
