Whenever I visit some Bing related web discussion, I always found many people saying “It is so slow or Bing hasn’t indexed their site”.
Its true that it is slow than other search engines but if you apply proper search engine optimization(SEO) method then it can index your site at a faster rate than before.
What is the difference between Bing and MSN spider bot? Well there is no difference at all both are same.
Here are the few methods for faster Bing site indexing and good ranking(SERP)-
1) Webmaster Tools- Just add your site, verify the ownership and submit your sitemap. It will inform it about your blog. You can also monitor your inbound links and any issues associated with your site or a blog, last crawl date and much more. You can use your Hotmail or MSN ID.
2) Robots file- Its a good practice to add your sitemap URL inside your robots.txt file. It will tell any search engine bot about its location.
like site:http://example.com/sitemap.xml
3) Domain Age- Bing also considers your domain age(other than website age) for site ranking (SERP). Many other search bot only counts website age.
4) Basic SEO- Add proper title, description and keywords tags to your pages.
5) Press Release- Bing considers press release(PR) for better ranking of your website.
6) Malware- Make sure your site is free from malwares and spam content.
7) Inbound links- More the links you have, More will be the indexing rate.
Server IP- It consider website server geographic location and shows the results according to that. It means if your web server is in France then you will get higher page rank in France than other countries.
9) Slow Indexing- HTML code errors may also hinders spider crawl speed. Use W3 Validator to find the errors. Avoid using sneaking javascript and frame.
10) Flash Ajax- If your site uses flash ajax or silverlight based objects then read SEO for Ajax and Silverlight Applications

I much prefer Google over Bing, but Bing does have enough of a market share that they cannot be ignored. Thanks for the tips!
Hello Brad I hope you find them useful.
Thanks a lot Abhi. This has really helped me but I am still confused regarding “Server IP”. Can you please explain it a bit more?
Cricket It means server location matters. If your server is in Spain then your site will get higher rank in Bing Spain as compared to rest of the world.
