Hacker selling Facebook Username and Password

Well this time again Facebook is feeling the heat. But not the summer strokes. This time a Russian hacker named Kirllos is trying to sell Facebook users details including their Username and Password. New Zealand cyber Police is searching for him. According to them he might already setup his shop to sell out users information.

He is selling on an underground Forum. I am sure you must be aware about ‘What is Underground means’. Anyway, many times we actually pass our sensitive details either deliberately or by mistake to the bad people. Many people share their Login information on 3rd parties sites. Such crappy sites keep a log of that.

Use strong Password and please read Terms & Conditions before using any new application. Use updated internet Browser.

  1. Sometime using Third party apps also harm privacy, it’s always good to use main site or well known apps.

I read about it in Times of India and Mashable too.

Read about it yesterday and here is a twist to the story — 90% of those accounts are with only a few friends and don’t even have a profile picture. Looks like someone has used some script to create tons of fake profiles and now trying to sell them claiming that they were hacked!!!
