What is TeamViewer?

TeamViewer is solution for easy and friendly desktop sharing. You can remote control a partner’s desktop to give online assistance, or you can show your screen to a customer – all without worrying about firewalls, IP addresses and NAT.

One solution for everything

While most competitors offer different packages for remote support, remote administration, training and sales (and also charge for them…) TeamViewer is the one-stop solution for everything you need: TeamViewer includes all modules in one simple and very affordable package.

Remote administration of unattended servers

TeamViewer can also be used to control unattended computers and servers. System service installations even allow remote reboot and reconnect.

File transfer

TeamViewer comes with integrated file transfer that allows you to copy files and folders to and from a remote partner – which also works behind firewalls

Highest security standard

TeamViewer is a very secure solution. All versions feature completely secure data channels with key exchange and AES (256 Bit) session encoding, the same security standard used by https/SSL.

Techinline (www.techinline.com) is a nice alternative to this application. The thing I like most with Techinline is that you can integrate the service into your own website and brand its interface entirely. It’s the most brandable out of all of the remote support apps that I’ve come across and is very simple to use

“TeamViewer is a rather reasonable solution for remote desktop sharing. But it’s full of annoying things like all these notifications on the use for non-commercial goals and impossibility to disable TV service or even close it.

Anyway my colleagues claim this is a matter of preferences. One likes Ammyy Admin another likes TeamViewer . It’s interesting what people value much while choosing software for remote desktop sharing.”

In our university we have distance learning and we use teamweaver to appear in exams.
    It is a good program.

  7. Hey, apart from TeamViewer, you can also use RHUB remote support servers for remotely accessing computers from anywhere. It works well.
