The reason why I am saying this is simply because of the fact that if you were planning to be doing your laborious task with this small hand held device, then you will really be inconvenienced. The Dell Streak is a machine that uses the Android 1.6 or the Android 2.2 operating system to function. However for the 2.2, you will get the unlocked operating system. This is a very important thing because without knowing the operating system that your computer will be using, it can be extremely difficult for you to know the other applications that will be required of you so that you can get what you are looking for.

Processor

The processor of the Dell Streak is totally different from the other processors that you are used to when it comes to computers. Here, you will not find the names such as the Intel core i3 and the Intel core i7 processors. Here, you will come to experience the power of the QSD 8250. The unique thing about this processor is the fact that it ensures that the tablet is able to deliver extremely high results despite the fact that the computer that we are talking about here is very small and hence is not able to have all the great features of the laptops and the mini laptops.

Memory

It is also important to note that the Dell Streak comes with memory sticks that are 512 MB ROM and 512 MB SDRAM which is very helpful in handling the data that have been put their by the user. However, there is a MicroSD which has a capacity of 2 GB and which is only used for the purposes of storing the system and application files.

All in all, it is important to note that the Dell Streak is not a normal computer. In fact, it is not even your average smartphone. It is definitely something that falls in between. It is therefore important that you be willing and ready to learn the system fresh.
