The LG GD510 Pop is a Quad-band GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 touchscreen handset. The phone offers excellent features and trendy looks at an affordable price. Measuring 97.8 x 49.5 x 11.2 mm, it is very compact and weighs only 87 grams. LG says its the most compact full touch screen phone.
The LG GD510 Pop has a 3.0 TFT resistive touchscreen which can display up to 256K colors and has a resolution of 240 X 400 pixels. An accelerometer sensor automatically rotates the screen when you tilt the phone sideways.
The phone offers a 3.0 megapixel camera which can take images up to a resolution of 2048X1536 pixels and records videos of QVGA resolution at 15 frames per second. Other features of the camera include digital zoom, autofocus, panorama mode, etc.
The inbuilt music player and video player supports all the major file formats like MP3, WMA, AAC+ music files and MP4 video files. For your gaming needs, motion sensor games are also provided. The handset also offers Stereo FM radio with RDS.
The LG GD510 Pop supports Class 12 GPRS and Class 12 Edge. However, it doesn't support 3G. Bluetooth v2.1 and microUSB features are provided for connecting your phone to the computer or other phones. A Teleca Obigo browser allows you to browse HTML as well as WAP sites effortlessly. Social networking sites like Facebook, Myspace, Twitter are directly integrated into the phone using widgets.
The handset has an internal memory of 42 MB which can be expanded up to 8 GB using an external memory stick. The phonebook can store 1000 entries and allows you to set different ringtones, photos, groups for each contact. Other features of the phone include alarm, calender, calculator, voice recording, speaker phone, SMS, MMS, E-mail, voice memo, etc.
The LG GD510 Pop has a Li-Ion 900 mAh battery which provides a stand-by time of up to 350 hours and talk time of up to 3.33 hours(200 minutes). The phone is available in two colors – Black and Silver.
