A USB car charger is essential in today's multi-device generation junkies. As we move forward to a well-advanced society, having a USB charger in one's car means being able to charge your devices and use the apps while you drive without worrying about a dead phone afterwards. If you are a frequent user of driving apps, it is important to purchase a dedicated USB charger with fast charging speeds. Although some new vehicles already have USB integrated with the car, some ports only put out 1 amp which is not much considering how many devices you might want to charge during your drive and how long you would be using the driving apps. If your car has the capacity to output 1 amp, then you might need to look for a charger that has at least 2.4 amps capability per port so a double port would have a total of 4.8 amps. This would allow you to charge 2 phones simultaneously at the same time.
Compatibility Issues
Another issue that most people would normally neglect is the compatibility issue between the charger and the device. If you have a single device or multiple devices of the same make or those that run the same OS, then it would be easy to purchase one that is compatible for all of your devices. This can be a problem if you have multiple devices of different makes. Before purchasing a charger, ask the sales person about any known issues with the charger and the warranties that are included in case you have to return it. Some stores also allow in store testing so you would be able to know beforehand if it will work out for you.
Price
Last is the pricing. Being expensive doesn't mean that it would work for you really well. There are some more affordable chargers that would work powerfully and yet are cheaper than other popular brands. Price also depends on the model. A small one would be expensive if it packs powerful charging capabilities and might well be worth the cost; however it might not be at the same time. If you have a bigger dash area then you might want to consider a bigger one as they tend to be cheaper but could work perfectly as well. Remember to test each one out before purchasing so you will know that you will get value for your money.
