Disney in partnership with Asus have announced the launch of the kid friendly Mini Laptop geared towards 6-12year old. With two styles, Princess Pink and Magical Blue, they are coming out with the Disney NetPal Asus MK90H and the MK90 they are talking about a release date around the 1st of August 2009 with a suggested retail price of $349.99.

The Netpal was developed with kids and parents in mind and goes from box to set up in four easy steps. With 40 parent controls it gives parents ultimate control while giving kids the safe but real experience of a Netbook. The unique and intuitive visual Disney interface lets kids have a magical and engaging experience.

The Disney user interface call “Gadget Tray has a creatively design easy to use 2D menu with a Disney themed browser. The stunning visual environment includes Disney Pix Photo software that features Disney Bobble head and lets kids put theirs our anyone face on top of bodies and download them into videos and play moving dance scenes.

Also included are a driving game, memory game, numbers game, photo scrapbook, stop watch, digital memo pad, and Radio Disney that streams real-time music while letting kids request a song.

Kids can customize their desktop with more than 10 customizable themes that include popular characters form Disney and Disney Pixar like Vintage Mickey, Toystory, Wall-e, Cars, and more with Hannah Montana and Jonas geared towards the slightly older kids.

The Disney Netpal by Asus allows parents to create a safe web environment including scheduling access on a day and time limit for each program. They can also pull up information on how and where kids spent their time on the Netpal.

With the only difference in the two models being the drives both weigh under 3 pounds. It has been rumored that the Disney Netpal MK90H will only be available on Amazon while the MK90 will be exclusive to Toy “R” Us.
