The Nokia C5 can be explained in the following few points. It is a symbian S60 3rd edition based phone, the cheapest in it's category. It has a very high 3G speed, and dual cam to support this feature. It is a very simple looking phone yet it is packed with very high features. Such as a 128 Mb RAM which allows it to run almost any application that other phones in it's class can run. Things appear quite nice at first glance, because the cell phone comes boxed with all necessary accessories – stereo headset, microUSB cable, 2GB microSD expansion card, wall charger and user guide.

The display is of QVGA resolution which has recently become the standard of it's category now. All told, the image quality is mediocre and the C5 is useless in direct sunlight, even with the brightness to its maximum setting, not to mention the screen is almost unusable when used at an angle.

The screen is, however, the only disappointing aspect relating to the outer look of the device. All buttons are well-made, large enough, have proper access and provide pronounced feedback. Typing away on the keyboard of the Nokia C5 is as easy as ABC. The microSD slot, well hidden under a small plastic flap, takes up to 16GB expansion cards.

The 3.5mm headphone jack, charger and microUSB ports are on the top side of the device. The battery cover is made from metal and is extremely easy to remove, thanks to the small peg at the bottom. It's metal body is also one it's attractive features, and is the most eye catching bit of the phone.

The Nokia C5 is an affordable Symbian S60 3rd Edition smartphone, with support for Ovi Maps 3.0 (with free walk and drive navigation) and Nokia Messaging. The phonebook shows you the Facebook status updates of your contacts and you'll also be able to easily update your status and share location with Ovi Maps.
