All the standard cellular phone features are built in to the Nokia E62 as expected. Vibrating alert, speakerphone, polyphonic ringer, caller ID to name a few. Furthermore, the handset offers capability for 6-way conference calls, picture IDs with specified ringtones and a mini SD slot supporting cards up to 2GB. Useful if the E62's 80mb fixed memory is not sufficient although the card slot is slightly inconveniently placed behind the battery cover.
The essentials are all in there too; alarm clock, calculator, notepad and currency converter. In addition, this clever device supports Adobe Reader and Zip Manager.

Design
In a slim, silver casing, the Nokia cellular phone model E62 does not let the side down with its sophisticated appearance. The full QWERTY keyboard is a dream to use, and the navigation system shouldn't pose any problems using the built in joystick.
Boasting a 2.8 inch screen, a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and up to 16 million colors, the display is large, bright and impressive. The E62 does not have an integrated camera, and while the block style handset can be cumbersome to use as a phone, this is easily solved by connecting a hands-free headset.
Technology
Battery life from the standard Li-ion battery means that Nokia E62 users will get the best out of 6 hours of talk time, and up to 332 hours on standby. A handy feature is the one button email access, with support for POP3, IMAP, SMTP and Microsoft Exchange Server, along with capable handling of email attachments.
Running with Symbian operating system OS 9.1, the Nokia E62 lets users edit and view Microsoft Office documents including Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Wireless connectivity options include Bluetooth, GPRS and WAP 2.0, or there's the Nokia browser. The Nokia E62 uses EDGE rather than the newer high speed technology, and does not have Wi-Fi integrated in its system. Depending on the volume of their internet usage, this could be a problem for some people.
Audio and video
The music player (MP3/AAC) incorporated into the Nokia cellular phone model E62 offers users good quality sound through the stereo headset. Video and audio streaming is supported by Real Player, however file types are limited to MPEG-4 and 3GPP formats.

Conclusion
Reasonably priced, and more than adequate for the average business user, the Nokia E62 smartphone offers excellent value for money. Users looking for better OS speed, camera and wi-fi connectivity, however, should look for more advanced solutions.
